Invitation to Free Bible Presentation:

Russian aggression foretold in the Bible

Sunday 27 February at 7pm at Mt Waverley Christadelphians, 354-358 Waverley Rd, Mt Waverley

All welcome

Russia is on the brink of invading Ukraine.  Western countries have told Mr Putin that Russia taking Ukraine is unacceptable, yet Russia persists in threatening Ukraine.  Its a continuation of a pattern. Russia took parts of Georgia in 2008 and took Crimea from Ukraine in 2014.

Russian aggression is predicted in the prophecies of the Bible.  There are prophecies in the Bible books of Ezekiel and Daniel that show clearly that in the end times Russia will build up its empire by taking control of many countries.  What Russia is doing is a sign that we are approaching the end times – the times of Armageddon but also the times of happiness when Jesus Christ will return and set up God’s kingdom on earth.  The Kingdom of  God will be a time of unprecedented peace and happiness for all peoples.

This understanding of the prophecies of the Bible is not a recent interpretation in response to the current aggression of Russia.    Christadelphians have been presenting these prophecies about Russian aggression in the end times for over a hundred years.

You are warmly invited to attend this Bible Presentation.  If you can’t attend but would like to view the presentation later, fill in the contact form and you will be sent the link to the presentation.  For more on this see here and here.

Is Bible Truth important?

Knowing the truth of what the Bible teaches is vitally important.  Why?
Because where you will spend eternity depends on whether you know and believe the Truth of the Bible.

Jesus said to his disciples “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation, whoever believes and is baptized
will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:15-16 (ESV)
Therefore understanding what is the Gospel is very important.
If you don’t believe the Truth of the Gospel, you won’t be saved, which means spending eternity in the grave.

Sadly many people believe that the Gospel is limited to the good news about Jesus Christ. But that is not right!
The gospel also includes the good news about the coming kingdom of God. The gospel that Jesus Christ taught was mainly about the Kingdom.
For example:  In Matthew 4:23 (ESV) it says that Jesus “went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming
the gospel of the kingdom
“. (see also Matt 9:35, 24:14, Mark 1:14)

So what is the Truth about the Gospel?  See the Gospel page.

Is the Bible really true?

You may well ask, how can I be sure that the Bible is really true?

Or how can I know whether there really is a God?

Or how can I know that the content of the Bible we have now is the same as what was originally
written thousands of years ago?

Do you want to examine some of the mountain of evidence that God is real and that the Bible
can be trusted?  See the Bible Truth page and the Bible Prophecy page

God requires we worship him in Truth

The Samaritans religion was a corrupted form of Judaism. Jesus said to one of Samaritan women:

You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.
But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father
in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him
“.
See also Josh 24:13

Therefore, for worship to be acceptable to God it needs to be done according to Bible Truth.  A summary of Bible Truth is here.
