Tuesday Bible Seminars – 7:30pm
On some Tuesday evenings beginning at 7:30pm the Mt Waverley Christadelphians hold a seminar session for the public. Typically the seminar will be part of a series of seminars covering a topic over several evenings, the seminars series can range from 3 weeks to 3 months. Please check the event listing section of our website for more details on the current seminar series running. We try to make the sessions as informative, informal and friendly as possible. Typically the evening is made up of two 35 minute presentations with a 15 minute refreshment break in between. The evening concludes no later than 9.30pm. We welcome you to attend at anytime.
Sunday Evening Bible Lectures – 7pm
Every second Sunday evening beginning at 7:00pm the Mt Waverley Christadelphians hold Free Bible Lectures. The evening will run for approximately 1 hour followed by light refreshments. The presentation format will usually open with a hymn and a prayer, a Bible reading, the presentation and again closing with a hymn and a prayer. The evenings are run in a reasonably formal format. Bibles and hymnbooks can be provided for the evening and we look forward to seeing you there!
Wednesday Advanced Bible Class – 8pm
The Mount Waverley Christadelphians run an evening Bible study class on Wednesday evenings commencing at 8:00pm. It is aimed at the Bible student who has a good knowledge of Scripture and God’s overall purpose with the earth. This class would not be ideal for the beginner but of course everyone is very welcome to attend.
The Sunday Memorial Service – 11am
The memorial service, often termed the “meeting”, is the time when Christadelphians meet to remember the life, death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ when those baptised share bread and wine as the Lord did with his disciples in the upper room. It is considered the most important meeting of the week and for convenience sake, the Mount Waverley Christadelphians hold the meeting at 11:00am each Sunday morning.
Sunday School – 9:30am
The Mount Waverley Christadelphian Sunday School runs on most Sunday’s of the year (except for during school holidays) beginning at 9:30am. There are classes for all ages which are run largely as a discussion / class for the older groups and a lesson, activity and singing spiritual songs for the younger groups. Everyone is welcome to attend.
