The Truth about the Devil

Most Christian religions believe in a supernatural Devil that is the arch enemy of God and roams the earth tempting men and women.  However the Bible evidence for such a concept is not really there.  The term “Devil” does not occur in the Old Testament at all.  The supposed identification of the Devil as a fallen angel is in Revelation chapter 12, which was written at the end of the first century AD.  In the whole of the Old Testament, which spans a period of 4,000 years, there are no warnings to the people about the Devil.  There are plenty of other warnings in, for example, the Law of Moses about the dangers of idolatry, but no warnings about the Devil.  So what is the Devil then?  Come and hear what the Bible teaches.
