Why we believe Jesus is the Messiah

Jesus was the most influential man that has ever lived.  His teachings revolutionised the world and still has an amazingly positive impact on the lives of hundreds of millions of people. The Bible reveals that Jesus was sent by God to this earth to give hope of eternal life to those who would respond to his teaching.  The Bible also reveals that Jesus is the Christ, which is a word that means Messiah.  The Jewish people sadly rejected Jesus as their Messiah, but the Bible says that Jesus will return to this earth again shortly and the Jewish people will accept him then as their Messiah.
