Why did Jesus have to die?

Every Easter there is a remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ about 2000 years ago.  So why did he have to die?  Many Churches give many different answers to this question.  Some say that Jesus died instead of us.  You are invited to come and hear what the Bible really teaches about why Jesus died.  Its quite different to mainstream church teaching.
