A Biblical View of the Middle East Crisis

The current armed crisis in the Middle East has the US and Israel in conflict with Iran.  The reasons for the conflict remain somewhat unclear, yet missiles and drones from all forces have brought death and destruction throughout the region, even in countries that have not taken an active role in the conflict.  Additionally, missiles from Hezbollah in southern Lebanon have provoked widespread response through that country from Israel.

Each country involved seems convinced that they have right on their side.  Unfortunately, they appear to forget that armed conflict always has terrible results for the peoples living in the area.

We will explore what the Bible has to say in prophecies about the Middle East and focus on prophecies that tell us we live in “the last days” of the current world order, a time that will usher in the return of Jesus Christ to the earth.  The nations of the world have their own agendas, but the Bible assures us they will come to nothing because God’s plan to replace their rule forever will be fulfilled at his appointed time..
