How to read the Bible effectively

April 28 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The most important prerequisite to Bible study is a  belief in God. A new testament writer said,  (Heb 11:6)  “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him”(KJV)

In this Bible talk we will look at the  foundation and  structure of its books ,  and the  individuals that God worked with.

We will explore  great and precious promises which were given to faithful individuals, peoples and nations.

Also we will see with sadness, the introduction of sin and the sad result, that the majority of mankind reject God. and suffer as a consequence.

Conversely we will look at the assurance that God left on record, a plan of salvation in that he will fill the earth with his Glory and with a race of people that will reflect his character and purpose.

Finally we will introduce a free reading planner , which when followed takes you through the whole of the Old Testament once and the New Testament twice in twelve months.
